Black August was first commemorated 45 years ago by inmates at San Quentin prison in California in honor of the slain George Jackson. As part of Indy Liberation Center’s yearly commemoration of Black August, we’re hosting a reading and discussion event for those familiar and unfamiliar with Black August alike.
